Imagine yourself on a sunny day sitting in a rocking chair on the porch sipping wine, eating fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables and enjoying a BBQ / grill with family and friends. The butterfly-friendly gardens provide a tranquil backdrop for family get-togethers - beyond the trickling sounds of the pond are blackberry bushes laden with fruit for our guests to enjoy in late summer!

The fall is a glorious time to visit, with an abundance of colours, beautiful local walks, Butterfly provides a wonderful setting for a Thanksgiving dinner around the large antique dining table. Visit many of our excellent restaurants in town and look forward to an evening at the Shaw Theatre.

During the winter the town hosts a number of festivals such as a ‘Taste of Niagara’ and the ice festival - Butterfly cottage provides the perfect location for cross-country and downhill skiing at nearby Kissing Bridge and Holiday Valley. At the end of the day curl up with a good book and a glass of local world-famous wine in front of a crackling wood fire, with the snow gently falling outside …book now!
